CCP’s program is based on the principles of contemporary Reform Judaism. Under the direction of Congregation Beth Israel’s Rabbi Stephen Kahn, Rabbi Rony Keller and Cantor Jaime Shpall, and with support from clergy throught the region, we work all year to develop a curriculum imbued with Jewish history, themes, & traditions. Our Judaic programming incorporates creativity & active participation; campers learn while having fun!

A Message from Rabbi Kahn:
As we celebrate our fourth decade of Jewish summer camping in the scenic Prescott National Forest, we welcome our campers to experience living Judaism. From the ropes course to our majestic outdoor Chapel, to the overnight trips & wonderful programming, a summer at CCP helps children develop positive Jewish identities & enables them to create lifelong friendships with Jewish children from throughout the Southwest.

Many of our staff members, including our wonderful Director Jodi Woodnick, were once campers themselves at Camp Charles Pearlstein. With this unique viewpoint, we view our role in caring for your children as a sacred task in facilitating one of life’s most precious experiences; a Jewish summer camp experience.
