Checking in and out
Upon arriving at camp, you will park in the lot on your right upon first entering and proceed to the caretaker’s home. The caretaker will give you an orientation and assist you in getting settled in. As you complete this orientation, you will also complete a facility and a supply checklist. You will be given a walkie-talkie radio so that the group leader will always have access to the camp staff. On departure day, groups are asked to empty trash cans and do a general clean up of their areas. Cabins are to be swept out and all lost and found items are to be taken back with your group.
Health Care
We suggest that each rental group have a staff of personnel trained in First Aid and CPR from a nationally recognized provider. We do not have trained medical personnel on site. You are welcome to and encouraged to use our infirmary to store your supplies and house your medical personnel. Transportation to medical facilities such as the hospital is also the responsibility of your group. Medical care is available at the nearby Yavapai Regional Medical Center (928) 445-2700.
Click here for a copy of our Health History form. We suggest that all rental groups have either this or a similar form completed for each participant. In addition, we suggest that each participant have an emergency treatment consent form, and if under 18, it is signed by a parent or guardian.
